Our client SOMA Film Festival will move to a new location for its third year (and will have a new number and new color in the logo, thanks to us). “In a mere two years, the festival has screened over 100 films including an academy award nominee Fire at Sea, held numerous Q & A’s with filmmakers, garnered successful sponsorships for many local companies and businesses, and become a recognized creative entity with a nomination for “The Best Film Festival” by the NJ Arts Council in its inaugural season.” Read more about the move at the Village Green.
Everything Is Design: The Work of Paul Rand is now showing at The Museum of the City of New York, through Sept. 7. It’s a must-see to learn more about the modern American master of corporate identity. It’s great to see the posters, brochures, book covers, and ads in person. Special tours and events are also happening throughout the summer.
Starting your own business or considering rebranding? Entrepreneur has a quick read on the must-haves. See what else is important besides simplicity and brand consistency.
